All reportsResearch overview
Each capsule contains 500 mcg of tesofensine, with 60 capsules per bottle. Tesofensine is a small molecule that blocks the reuptake of three neurotransmitters, serotonin, noradrenaline and dopamine, which raises their levels in the synapse.
It was first developed by the Danish company NeuroSearch for neurodegenerative conditions, and later studied for its effects on appetite and energy balance, where a phase 2 trial reported reduced food intake and body-weight change. In research it is a tool for studying monoamine signalling in appetite control. Keep the bottle closed, cool and dry, away from light.
