All reportsResearch overview
Cagrilintide is a long-acting, lipidated analogue of amylin, the pancreatic hormone released together with insulin. Natural amylin readily forms amyloid fibrils; cagrilintide was engineered at Novo Nordisk to resist fibril formation and to bind albumin, giving it a half-life suited to once-weekly study designs.
It acts at amylin receptors, which are complexes of the calcitonin receptor with RAMP proteins, and also at the calcitonin receptor itself. Research covers satiety signalling in the area postrema and its combination with GLP-1 receptor agonists. Prepare solutions shortly before use and avoid vigorous shaking. See cagrilintide and amylin analogues.

Questions
What is cagrilintide based on?
On amylin, a 37-amino-acid hormone co-released with insulin, modified to resist fibril formation and to last longer.
Is there a cagrilintide combination?
Yes, the cagrilintide + semaglutide blend, the pairing known in research as CagriSema.
What's in the vial?
Cagrilintide at the strength you choose. No diluent or accessories are included.
Can I check the lab report for my vial?
Yes. The batch number on your vial matches a report on this page or in our lab report library, with a link to verify it on the lab's website where available.
Is this product for human use?
No. It's sold for laboratory research use only and isn't for human or veterinary use.
