Cagrilintide + Semaglutide blend

This blend combines cagrilintide, a long-acting lipidated amylin analogue, with semaglutide, a GLP-1 receptor agonist. The same pairing, known as CagriSema, has been studied in large controlled clinical trials, including the phase 3 REDEFINE 1 trial, which our research article summarises with its published figures.

The two act through different receptors and brain regions: amylin through calcitonin receptor and RAMP complexes in the area postrema, GLP-1 through its own receptor. That makes the blend useful for comparative amylin and incretin receptor research. Both components bind albumin, so medium composition affects free concentrations in vitro.
