Each capsule contains 20 mg of noopept, also known as omberacetam, with 60 capsules per bottle. Noopept (N-phenylacetyl-L-prolylglycine ethyl ester) is a dipeptide-derived compound developed in Russia and often grouped with the racetams, although its structure differs from piracetam.
It is thought to act partly as a prodrug of cycloprolylglycine, a natural cyclic dipeptide in the brain, and is studied for effects on memory-related behaviour and neurotrophic factor expression in animal models. The capsule format gives a fixed amount per unit for oral designs, and a full bottle holds 1.2 g of noopept in total.
