All reportsResearch overview
Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide, Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2, that activates the growth hormone secretagogue receptor (the ghrelin receptor). It was developed at Novo Nordisk from the growth hormone-releasing peptide family and described in 1998 as the first selective growth hormone secretagogue.
In the original pharmacology studies it released growth hormone with potency similar to GHRP-6 but, unlike GHRP-6 and GHRP-2, did not raise ACTH or cortisol beyond GHRH levels, even at very high amounts, and did not affect FSH, LH, prolactin or TSH. That selectivity makes it a clean tool for ghrelin-receptor research. See CJC-1295 and ipamorelin.

Questions
What makes ipamorelin selective?
In pig studies it raised growth hormone without raising ACTH or cortisol, unlike older secretagogues such as GHRP-6 and GHRP-2.
Which blends contain ipamorelin?
The CJC-1295 + ipamorelin blend, the tesamorelin + ipamorelin blend and the CJC-1295 + ipamorelin pen.
What's in the vial?
Ipamorelin at the strength you choose. No diluent or accessories are included.
Can I check the lab report for my vial?
Yes. The batch number on your vial matches a report on this page or in our lab report library, with a link to verify it on the lab's website where available.
Is this product for human use?
No. It's sold for laboratory research use only and isn't for human or veterinary use.
