Research overview
SLU-PP-332 is a synthetic small molecule developed at Saint Louis University that activates the estrogen-related receptors ERR alpha, beta and gamma, with the strongest activity at ERR alpha. These nuclear receptors control genes for mitochondrial biogenesis and oxidative metabolism, especially in muscle and heart.
In mouse studies it raised the oxidative capacity of skeletal muscle and increased exercise endurance, which led to its description as an exercise mimetic. It is used in research on nuclear-receptor signalling and mitochondrial function. It is supplied as a powder; for oral designs see SLU-PP-332 capsules and the combination with BAM15.

Questions
What receptors does SLU-PP-332 activate?
The estrogen-related receptors ERR alpha, beta and gamma, most strongly ERR alpha.
Is SLU-PP-332 an estrogen?
No. Estrogen-related receptors are named for their similarity to estrogen receptors but do not bind estrogen.
What's in the vial?
SLU-PP-332 at the strength you choose. No diluent or accessories are included.
Can I check the lab report for my vial?
Yes. The batch number on your vial matches a report on this page or in our lab report library, with a link to verify it on the lab's website where available.
Is this product for human use?
No. It's sold for laboratory research use only and isn't for human or veterinary use.
